User Design
The success of a system is not only a matter of choosing the right technology-it is also a matter of creating an integrated solution that meets end users' needs as well as your business goals.
Often you are convinced the technology is right, but are still experiencing problems such as complicated features, elevated training costs, unhappy users and an increase in support calls. More often than you may think, project owners also make design and development decisions without a thorough understanding of the users goals, motivations, tasks, work processes, system comfort or knowledge level.
Niteo's User Centered Design (UCD) approach involves the users in the process:
- User satisfaction is key, the solution must meet user needs and expectations.
- Cognitive engineers create requirements by performing behavioral analyses including process, task and workflow assessments.
- Bringing users into the requirements process results in a solution that is relevant, wanted by and usable for end user, and results in higher usage rates.
User-Centered Design is not an ingredient, but a process and a mindset that should be maintained throughout a project. When it is, it dramatically increases the likelihood of success and system adoption. The primary objectives of the UCD approach are:

- Create a Useful Solution - "Useful" defined by relevance and users needs met
